Description
Obtained from Negroamaro, Primitivo and Merlot grapes grown in Apulia. This wine is made using the method called “Appassimento”. The dried grapes are softly pressed and put in stainless steel tanks where a slow long fermentation is carried out at a temperature of 28°C, keeping the skins perpetually immersed in the must with soft punching down. After the wine has completed its malolactic fermentation, it is aged at least for two years in oak before bottling.
The color is deep ruby red. Bouquet rich and complex with notes of ripe dark cherry, herbs, and vanilla.
Cantine Sgarzi Luigi – 750 ml, 15% vol.
